so did I,......as if they make much differance with the rest of the windows missing!!!!!! .....highlights for me of the last meet was seeing your car in the flesh after the chop,the lowriderbug,seeing crewkids van on the road again (and giving him the no worries sign ,as we was tanking down the dual carridgeway(admittedly he was overtaking me))seeing mr impy ...even if we have to wait a little longer for ruby (and top job of being moups' indicators)and beeping my horn and generally misbehaving with dubber at last.......top meet ....top cars....top people

The lowrider bug was cool, I am loving Richs Split, I have to be honest I like Dions green 1303, but the best bit by far was the cruise (race/ drag race/ carnival procession)* delete as appropriate

Been busy hammering out and dressing the roof today. And after a skim of filler it's starting to look good!
... And also welded on the top of the drivers door.





It's gonna be a while before I get round to the quarter lights! Gonna have a good look at em, but at the moment think it'll be easier to start from scratch!

Both door tops extended and welded back on!
They really make the roof seem alot lower as I've got to duck down too see out the side windows!








After driving it in the sun this afternoon, I just cant wait to get it a bit more finished ready for summer.

I'm sat here looking at the sample I did last week, thinking I cant wait to see it on the car!
.... which if all goes well, will be next sunday!


I've still got quite a tist of things to do:

Finish the welding the roof inside the car
Finish welding the gutters
Cut out and repair the rust in the n/s door
Treat the rust in the o/s front wing
Finish repairing the front of the bonnet
Weld up the old badge holes in the bonnet
Fabricate the custom dash
Refit the rear valance so it's bolt on
Make everything nice and smooth with filler


I'd like this list done by thursday so I can spend friday and saturday stripping, priming and prepping

Don't suppose you want to sell the drivers quarter light do you? The handle snapped off in my hand today so now I can't shut it

My mate said he saw a bonkers car shoot past him on the motorway on Saturday, he said it was a mixture ofcolours, had no windows and was shaking like mad----- i said that'll be daves car then!

Harv, Steve is right. the closing latch is different, but they do fit the later door (my driver side is a late one). If you want one off me, take the pair dude! I'm sure we could come to some sort of a deal!
