Well it has been a long winter...i have been at uni studying Laughing and steve working all hours of the day to keep his head above water so the masochist has had to take a bit of a back seat.

How ever in the last couple of weeks steve has got the new fuel tanks made, Guinness barrel, and started patching the inside up.

On Sunday we had another session on the car and welded up the fuel flap and replaced the offside window corner using a section from the donor car and steve welded up the inside of the roof.

But i am back now in plym for my last exam so the car is on the back plate again till i am back...but at least some work has been done afro

Well well well......it been a long time but it's getting the attention she needed...

So any ways the roof is almost done....just getting all the shape right on the roof, and all the people that helped with daves (matt's) chop this really takes the time. But the roof has been given a lick of paint, the bonnet and the engine lid.

The front nose cone was gone so this has been chopped out at replaced and all the welding i hope ( i b**dy hope so) tomorrow.

Photo's have been taken and i really do think this is the best roof chop on ANY beetle i have ever seen! but i am biased haha

The about 6 months past before things started being done again

i had finished uni and steve had more time to

All the inside was welded and painted

First up we had to sort the nose cone out, as when we first fitted the extender we noticed it was screwed!

'The Masochist' - Page 5 Masochist004

'The Masochist' - Page 5 Masochist002

So ordered a new one and sorted out all the welding on the front end....which left us with this....
