| Hmmm, a WRX powered Notch. There was a water-pumping Notch at Sandown Park this year, but sure what the engine was from though. It looked hard as nails on Porka cross-spoke alloys though........ | |

| took the van for a bit of a blast today to the mall, all went well, it does 80mph at 4500rpm which is ok a bit high for my liking. and at 100 it is on 5500rpm. but the a pipe split by the rad, and dumped a load of water out so i pulled over to fix. a motorway maintence van pulled over to make sure i was ok, and said "why are you filling it full of water? since when have they had water cooled engine's in?" i said its a subaru engine! he replayed " that explains why you shot past us in the outside lane and we were doing 80!" so i had to trim and refit. and air lock after air lock! then i had my first expirence of having a watercooled vw! on my way home nr kenn noticed the temp was hot 90 c so pulled over to make sure no leaks. and one of the pipe's shot off and sprayed me with steam.! whent into the drum and monkey (pub) and put my arm under the cold tap and in the end it came up so quick and bad thought id better take it to clevedon hospital to check it over. well... me and si wanted a pint as we were in a pub, but the land lord told us to go to hospital or else! | |

| yeh man, thanks guys. wurz the 2.2 kettle thing made me laugh. all with the van seems to be good no probs yet. been looking at 2.5 quad cams or ecu remaps as im already bored of the power. tomoro im going to finishing doing the exhaust as its blowing, rattles and at the moment i cant fit the bumper so with a bit of cutting welding and bashing should sort that. then fri try and re locate the rad so can drop the back back down and drive a vw that ant 4x4 style at the back. whichs sucks!!! | |
