Got down there the unit first thing and got it all flatted back apart from the edges which i'll do after breakfast and hopefully get the insides of the doors painted today and the rest done tomorrow fingers crossed..

cant wait 2 c it dude,the future is orange.

Dragged Frizz and the kids out today to help finish flatting it down so it's all done now..

So i've painted the inside of the doors, bonnet ect..







If i get time i'll paint the van tomorrow..

Fingers crossed for the summer ah Si..

Umm can't remember what make it is now but it's gravite feed and the same quality as Devilbis stuff..

5 hours work and she's all painted apart from the roof and the bumpers

Not happy with it at all had a mare with the gun on the first couple coats millions of runs, so had to strip and rebuild it with bits from my other gun, then laid another 3 coats on... I've got a shed load of runs to rub out now and they're massive..

Anyway a couple piccies..

There is one thing for definate. It's orange!! lol

Thats one of the small runs as well

We whipped out there this morning de-masked it and chucked the panels on, then dragged her outside in the sun for a couple pic's..







Then put the grille and front panel together and back on..

Hoping to get the roof and bumpers done on Tuesday.. Fingers crossed in for MOT before the weekend..

at least there is plenty of coats on there to knock it back and get it flat.

Cheers dude.. Driveway paint jobs rule i used to do all my resto's and paint jobs fucking everything on my drive but the neighbours and council put a end to that so got myself a nice size unit to work in now..

Anyway..


Got to the unit for 7:30 this morning to go about flatting and polishing out those dirty gurt runs but the whole van was unsalvagable so out came the DA and i sanded it down again, masked her back up and chucked some more paint at her.. The finish isn't as good as it was the first time cos i had next to no paint left but it's done....

MOT ASAP then
