| Fitted my new spax adjustable shocks today, on the instructions they said set them to the softest then fit them and try them and adjust them in stages of 4 twists at a time until you get the right ride.. sod that i need them as hard as they can go to stop the thing using the tyres as the bump stops. so set them as hard as they can go, then try them.. took it out for a spin hard as you like... no scrubbing sweet. right pull over turn them back a few turns see how that rides... they started scrubbing over harsh bumps, so turned them up 2 turns.. perfect no scrubbing and one turn left. wil need to buy the gf sports bra and a gum shield but it has sorted my problem and riders like a bumpy dream. hopefully now i can drop the front the rest of the way and start filing the back full of bits to level her out.. plus buy a new exshaust as mine has started to crack, just what i needed. looking at the muffler scoops has got as that looks wicka and sounds great. but its going to burn another hole in my pocket.. any one know the cheapest place? or has a second hand one? ps scoops would you swap urs for a short stinger or a cracked twin quite pack?? | |
