Sorry to hear about the pink machine, bet it made some lovely noises though!

Must be really annoying especially after all the hard work you both put into it!

Problem seems to be, the crank is broken!!!! affraid affraid affraid
With the engine on the floor, the fly wheel is easy to turn and the pully doesn't move! No bounce

and it was still runnin but wouldn't get a gear they don't make like a vw any more lol!

Apart from it sounding a bit clunky, it was running like a charm! lol!

I got it from GFS.... But that was about 5 years ago(never used it though)!

Not wanting to dissapoint Rach, I've pulled the engine out of the 66, stuck it back in the pink un and she's rollin again..... It will be going to jambo! bounce sunny bounce

I have a crank on my floor already out if you need one in a hurry........you can just replace it later dude afro

I'm not in any hurry to rebuild that engine. The 1200 is running ok, so it'll wait till after the 66 is painted.





Got all the lights working as they should be again. And wired in a stereo..... While Rach was downloading some Beach boys, ready for Jambo! afro
