Golf Mk2 Van 'Krusty'

I'll upload the 'before' photo's when I get a chance. Rear windows are (hopefully) on order in metal but for now are vinyl. Next job interior/bed (like 'Marmite Mk3 Golf van had for surf trips etc)

p.s. yep one small piece of welding left to do on the sill

check out picture 2: see the height difference between mine and a stock mk2 mu ha ha still got loads of adjustment left to go but for now i'm happy with it 3" off the floor

Needs a deep GTI front spoiler though

I think a deep spoiler would ruin the looks.

You wouldn't want to be called out in winter to clear the roads if it had one.

thanks lads, anyone got a photo of a low mk2 with a mk1 gti duck bill/deep spoiler? would it bolt on (presumably be a bit narrow)?

Something quite pleasing about a van, and something different, I will be a looking for a car derived van when I replace my daily (very soon)

the mendip challenge? lol, yes dude... I've organised it from start to finish (all the marketing, all the logisitics, the whole shabang, taken me 6 months - hoping to raise £60k this year from it). I'll be working about 35 hours over the weekend hence no BVF for me this year

ha, yep water at every checkpoint dude (and Haribo's) but take a container with her. Plussssssss YEP she'll get a medal with this years walk on the lanyard. Plussssss.... there's an after party with BBQ, beer, disco AND she'll also get a FREE chocolate bar at the end. Not bad for £7 entry eh! look forward to seeing her and the dogs there dude
