| Get some specs check the load rating of the springs etc and compare to yours, the current load rating should be on the springs if there not worn off. | |

One assumes you mean spring rate? (ie. the force required to compress the spring by a certain dimension) Not UTS or Hardness?

| Rang GAZ today. They will rebuild them for approx £30+vat and carriage per corner.. so sent them today next day delivery! They'll take 3 working days to sort and return and aim to have the bus back on the road next weekend. Still will look at putting adjusters on the beam in the future, and for good measure adjustable rear spring plates... Going to the dust covers on the weekend... | |

| Tonights efforts ... Tie rods removed and balljoints un-ceased! Not a lot of space under the bus, as garage door supports are in the way! The removed rubbers... Balljoints soaking overnight to help free them up more... Other ends will get a bit more soaking in the morning Will get the dust covers in the noting and regressed the joints and then refit to the bus.. Just waiting on the shocks to be returned .... And a big thank you to wizpop for your ball splitter tool | |

| Lots done this afternoon ...
Tie rods all freed up, new boots and greased and bolted back on.
Reverse lights fixed.
Sorted out tyre size for rear wheels to get the back down and the can level.
And played with some ideas for wheels and offset options...
Big thanks to wizpop and chipper for the help and mrswizpop for helping entertain my kids in the van!

| Yep. I would need to run an adaptor. This would at 20mm to the offset; so used wizpops spacers to get an idea.. If anything they added an extra 5mm..

| yeah, they should work ok because Porker whees are usually around ET35.. the BRM's are ET12 IIRC, so you should be 3mm better off, even with an adaptor... | |
