My new ride.....say hello to Big Ben!!

Well, finally went out & got myself a camper.

After lookin at several bays i put me money into a solid, very original, early T25.

3 owners in 27 years, 3-4000 per year all its life (94K on the clock now) & a genuine vw replacement motor at 60k.

All the interiors there (if a little dated!), everything touchwood works.






£2800 & i think (hope) a good buy for that kinda cash.

Any idea's for turning this little sweetie into a cool summer ride?

they are.........i resprung the matress in the back!

order a Just kampers cataloge and have a look through the tuning and styling parts.

Get it on it's arse with some juicy Merc rims on there...........save some pennies and drop a Porka cooled T4 lump in there too.

Clares been re-upholstering some of the seating area & it looks mucho better!!

Was a bit 70's hotel lobby inside

Waiting on a call back on an adjustable suspension kit & still trying to decide on wheel choice.

They look you cant go wrong with 5 spokes but still got to be lowered

Im in negotiations as we speak for a 3" drop lowering kit (german importer) about half the price you'd pay in the uk for it!

I went down the tip yesterday and there was one in the skip i was on my hands and knees tring to get them to let me have it but NO..


I even said pretty please with a cherry on the top

60mm drop springs now ordered, waiting on confirm of shipping costs for bilstein shocks to suit........

Now if i can only get it to run right!!!
