| Hi all, Finally got around to posting some pics. It's a 1972 1.7L Westy conversion, (although only R&R left as needed space)    Tango is currently awaiting some attention after failing MOT when they managed to put their thumb through my fuel tank!  Got a bit of welding to do, so is now off the road till I get some time to sort it...as whilst getting fuel tank out, may as well detail engine etc. So currently using either silver'n'blackSmart fortwo or red'n'black Smart forfour to get about in.  | |

| Thanks guys, will be much better once back on the road!
Got to sort out botton 12" all round...usual story really!
Took out Tims engine just before xmas, and was glad about the new pea shooter, as made life far easier to undo new bolts and he's changed his mind on the wheel front and is keeping the alloys!
Thinking about getting a new tank from these guys when they've produced the Bay version: any other ideas?

| Any more ideas on what is making Tims engine poorly? poor lad was gutted when it packed up on the way to Vanfest.

| Well engines out an in garage on floor waiting to go on stand last time I saw it. Think he'd looking at stripping heads down as are only none new part in engine..guess he'll check valves etc on the way in! Last time mine went, I managed to crack head by No.3, sounded great on 3 cylinders though  Will do my beat to get to the meet, won't be in Tango though but in the smarty...at least the engines in the the right place i guess Rich | |
