| Okies, back from a weekend away with Evvo in Germany. Went to Bad Camberg and Wolfsburg - highly reccomended! Anyway - back to reality with a bump - and onto the rear brakes. Finally managed to get one of the hub nuts off! Woo hoo! All pulled apart, wire brushed and given a coat of POR-15. More after lunch Oh and here's the welded in other a pillar repair pic: | |

| Yeah i don't think there's a wheel in existance which would have suited her better than the detailed radars - I had to get them when i was told about them being for sale!
Gonna go out again and do battle in a bit. Expect more pics! | |

| Been out playing with her again today. Got the other hub nut off: Pulled all the brakes apart and painted up the face of the drums and the backing plate. This time the bolts for the backing plate to come off came off, so I'm replacing all the seals etc. And I managed to get a semaphore working More when they've dried. | |

| Are you able to push some stiff thin wire down and solder the end to your wire and then pull it back up through?? | |

| Yeah that's what i thought would work - but I don't appear to have any wire which is flexible enough to go down the pillar, but strong enough not to just bend and not go anywhere.... I've found an old bit of window chrome works really well - it's just not long enough | |

| Today I did some more wiring, it's about 80% done now, which is good. Then Steve got home and Lukey came over to help me put the pass side door back on - which didn't take long... but getting it to shut right took Luke forever to do! And then the gaps were way off so it's all gotta be done again but for now it's staying shut! Got the rear brakes all together too. Sorry about the pic - couldn't find my camera at the time (yet again!) so had to use phone: | |
