The DVLA said I had to pass the Field Vision test, I scored 119/120

They recieved that and moved the goalposts, I have to go for more eye tests. Im getting really pissed off with it all, they keep changing what they want.

If I fail the eye test on April 12th then I have to wait until August at the earliest Sad

Cheers

Vision is the best it will be, I can appeal against the DVLA's decision but that will cost legal fee's etc or I can wait it out til August and see if hte specialist that is currently dealing with my situation will write a report saying that I have had no problems in a year and am perfectly fit to drive. Currently wear glasses anyway.

Pretty stupid ruling anyway, I have been playing Cricket and Football for 2 months and haven't dropped a catch - nothing wrong with my eyes!

I will be taking the VW out for some pictures tommorow, my driveway isn't the most setting Smile

well good luck dude .....its just a load of red tape that somone has to follow .....you'll get sorted in the end ,if you can play football and cricket ect ...your sight must be better than half of the drivers out on the rds .....as most don't see me on my lambretta most of the time

Very pleased, I have managed to build it for a sensible price, had the VW had needed to go to a garage for the work then I doubt there would be much change, if any, from £10k

Still being driven around, I have to sit a driving test to see if I should be allowed on the road... bit stupid but oh well.

Only problem is that I might not be able to sit this test until next year as I am potentially having a double hip replacement within a few months...

Had a quick drive on Weston Beach tonight, somebody in a white T4 or T5 was on the beach, somebody from the club maybe?

Jesus Chris!! When they said that people who drive buses are Hippies, they meant 60's children who love the weed!!
Some people just take it too far!! lol
Sorry to hear that buddy, good luck.
I dont know if you still can, but you used to be able to ring up on a daily basis to see if there has been any cancellations, I brough my test forward by 3 months doing this for a week.
You could even explain that you will be having an op and see if they can help you out before.
