Well! picked her up from the garage & running like sh!te.... Not very happy at all, and finally got her down to the workshop & new home - a tight squeeze!
Dave popped over for a nose around and sorted the running issues out - No1 HT lead wan't connected & the timing was 10 degrees out!!! Not what you'd expect after paying for a service & MOT!! Thanks to a lead from Rick and Daves timing gun she's running sweet now - Cheers boys, much appreciated.. celebrated with a beer

Hip hip.... hooray! I do have a big soft spot for this van mate, its just so 'right' as standard and the little pop top, like it a lot.

Took the old girl out on her maiden voyage today...took the mut up to the woods... perfect, a nice cold coke waiting in the fridge for me when i returned!!

I'd just cleaned her, but muddy labrador = 2 tonnes of stain remover for the seats... bugger

Thought it was about time I started posting on this thread!...

So first thing, was to have a look in the loft and dig out a new set of curtains. Sorted out some new track in the cab area too.




With our first camping trip only a week away, Jack needed a bed! So I knocked him up a bunkbed/hammock to go over the front seats. Bit of box section and some canvas... Job's a good 'en.

You know when you're in trouble when you get that feeling in the pit of your stomache (or whats left of it!).... You've got to face it at some point.... Thats how i felt about the bus!!!

Well, day off today so took the mutt down the beach to tire him out and then headed down the workshop...

It was all going so well, all the side windows popped out with a bit of "love".. Then there was a slight "hand through window incident" Anyone know for some glass?!



Windscreen came out in one piece, with the help of a big screwdriver... and my foot
Bit crispy, but not the end of the world. All the rest of the window surrounds are in really good nick, considering!



Bumpers and lights off, front panel really quite solid.




Cab floor & steps are solid. Dreading taking the grinder to the "woodchip" down the flanks! Couple of crispy rear arches, but nothing too serious.
Enter stage left, Mr Dirty Dave himself... narrowing the front beam by a measly 8 inches Bit of a pain in the arse, what with those pesky shock mounts and damn servo... But should look awesome!

Plan is to get rid of the crusty bits, repaint and interior re-trim, keeping the rest of the interior as stock as possible.
Want it completed by CTTP, feel free to batter me for updates, it'll keep me motivated!

big thanks to Dave, Pete & Sam, Jon, Andy, Damo & Aaron yesterday for helping me dig it out of the workshop and move it..
It was completely buried and behind a tarp and hadn't been seen since october... Took a good 5 hours before it saw daylight!
Anyway... Looking underneath made me shit.... pretty much the bottom 12 inches will be new...
Dont expect it to be pretty, but it will be at plymfest!
