66 Karmann Bug

I've not had this bug that long (a couple of months), but since I have had it I have put in a pair of Empi lowbacks that I had retrimmed to suit the TMI interior by Bernard Newbury.
I have also got an A1 Muffler and header to fit (when the header gaskets arrive!).
Next on the list is a pair of decklid standoffs that I ordered last night and a decklid support bar I ordered tonight. The other thing I have just ordered is a fuel line pressure gauge.

The wheels are now deep 6's all round but I am considering selling the front ones and putting some 4.5's on so I can get the front end down. Might have to got for dropped spindles for this..

I have also lost the front bumpers and replaced them with polished alloy t-bars.....

I thought I would replace my unfinished bus as I was fed up with having something that swallowed money, d'oh!!

Here is my 73 Bay that I sold to buy the Karmann.
It's still in Weston so keep yer peepers open for it.......

LOL so u have swapped one money pit for another, ah well thats the way it goes with air-cooled veedubs. Theres always something on the must have list
