good man, polishing is the way forward!

It only took a hour per car thats polishing to, i use that autoglym and cant find anything better for polish

Gotta agree with yiou there, I bought some meguiars off kate last night (cheers kate) which when you mix with autoglym gives an EVEN better polish apparently! ...

That meguiars ive heard is just as good as autoglym but never tried it im happy with the auto stuff even if i used the hole bottle on the 3 cars today

Good work there Carl, even though I think you must have been using a little too much there!!!
I use AutoGlym Super Resin polish on my cars, then a coat of Super Finishing Polish on top of it......
I did the Golf in Oct in some polish I bought at the classic car show at Shepton and that has lasted well. It was washed last Sunday for the first time since the first week in Nov and came up well......

I will be going and getting some autoglym again and even though i hate polishing i actually enjoyed it today it was diffrent not fixing things for a change

An hour a car too??? The Golf took me 2 hours on Sunday and that was without any polishing!!

an hour a car is enough mate trust me

When we decided to sell our 02 Golf GTi I took 1.5 days to clean it!!
Even had it up on axle stands and waxed under the arches. The guy who bought it said he had NEVER seen a car that clean outside of a dealership!!!

Im actually registered on a forum which has 5 sub forums for cleaning cars/polishing cars/cleaning glass/engines/interiors etc.... but then Im known for my OCD for car polishing. You'll never see one of my cars dirty....

all i can say is take it to the IMO for a fiver, job done in 3 minutes. leaving time for the important things on a weekend like drinking stella or wilkins cider if nothing planned for the whole of sunday

All the IMO does is move the dirt around and scratch your paint...

Just to say we drove past your road today mate and Jex looks spot on, I must say I really do like the colour, she was very gold looking today, not the normal shade of purple!!
