Great day today going to get this bug on the road now as soon as poss as i want to sell one of the xr3s then use the bug as my daily and get the other xr3 repaired, so got all the floor repaired then the seat runners repaired and welded back to the floor

cheers tan plan is to get the bug done running and moted for the end of feb meet so ive got just on or over a month at least its taxed till august 2008 so no worries there

and the rot which is bloody good for this age got to fix both rear arches where the blody spats was and the front of the sill has a hole in it but so far thats it

Strange in the pics you can see wheel arch protecters and they did just that it was where the original spats was it rotted, its had a battery tray which i plan to do again as like all escorts someone just no nailsed this one in or thats what it looked like cant wait to get the bug moted so i can get started on the scort bloody love um

Got all the underside painted and its solid not one hole anywhere all the rot was at the front



Went to put the seats in that have been in my garden for ages and the runners have been changed, so much for being on the road in a bug in 2 weeks im des for a pair of front seats condition not importand as lond as the base frame is good

duie got painted, in red oxide in november 2006 then was sold sometime last year in red oxide so thought this time i should realy paint the floor

Had a good day today, made up some front seats they aint great but i want my bug back on the road, also fitted some new mats and rear seat, the pedals are now all set up right to, o and the beam should be here tomorrow so hopefully be rolling to

After the beam, what's left to do?

1.Clean the breakes
2.test the electrics
3.fit all the tinware to the engine
4.put new fuel line from front to rear
5.fit petrol tank
6.fit beam and all the bits to go with
7.fit the exhaust
8.MOT

Thats all thats left then im bug cruising
