| Yeah, I'd have though it would be plenty fella.. You'd wanna use an electric drill as you need it running at full speed for a long time.. | |

| I briefly caught up with my bus at lunchtime today after it was delivered from Slamwerks to Bromsgrove auto trimmers... This is the first time I've seen it since I dropped it off at Slamwerks, so the first time I've seen it lowered and narrowed.. I'm chuffed with the results.. well chuffed I took some measurements while I was there to compare before & after... Front before: Front after: Now 7" lower Rear before: Rear after: Now 6" lower (I might raise this up a little for now as the clearance of the driveshaft to the chassis IMHO is not enough.. but I have a plan to solve this!!) And a picture of the bus' stance now: | |

| I do like the stance... Just the rear suspension has very little room for manoeuvre! | |

| Finished one of the louvred windows now.. I reckon it's taken me 8 or 9 hours work to get it to this standard.. and it's far far from perfect.. but it will do, it's certainly an improvement over what it was.. I can always have another go at it another day if I'm not happy with it after it's installed... I'm quite pleased with the results given I've never done any polishing of metal before.. | |

| Its a US import Martin. The front one is a side indicator and the rear one is a side marker, originally with a bulb in. | |

Teach me in the way of the bay guys. So are they in the original factory position? What's the idea behind the position of the rears? Never seen a bay with that set up.

| Pretty sure they were dealer fitted Stateside. A US legal requirement.
Most are taken off over here, or have fallen victim to car park dinks long ago

Never seen a bay with that set up. They are where they're supposed to be chap.. 68's and 69's have round ones like mine, 70's and 71's have square ones in slightly different positions as you will see on Scoops' bay and my old westy... As someone said above, only seen on US buses due to compliance with US regs... It's part of it's heritage, so they have to stay!
