does look good is it going back orange or change of colour

going to be Dove Blue all over (inside and out) and then poptop/roofrack and bumpers are pearl white...(bumpers are done in pic)

should be back on the road next week after 2 years!!!

The end is in sight.
Here you go, the final bits going on ready for MOT on Wed then back on the road!! So should be at the end of month meet. Then time to refit the interior etc..

Van made it up from Cornwall ! The longest journey she's done in 2 years under her own power and at 70-80mph all the way

so time to start the interior rebuild this weekend and give her a good clean and polish up the new paint!

I'll get some pics up when done and see you all at the next club meet (the first one in an aircooled dub!)

Good work, can't wait to see it.

all interior panels recovered and fitted
wooden headliner
interior lighting
rock and roll bed
laminate flooring
rear seatbelt
half of front cab carpet
half of the stereo
half of the poptop canvas



to do:
carpet under seats
rest of stereo electrics
build sub enclosure and fit + get an amp
aux batt electrics
reverse light
tune engine as only 3/4 throttle at the mo...new springs for accelerator pedal etc
+ some other goodies!

all to be done by friday! let's hope it gets sunny

looking well smart dude and get cracking today as it's meant to be dry and warming up this afternoon

canvas in at last!
Damm roof weighs far to much when balancing it on your head, standing on a dodgey stool trying to staplegun and screw in the canvas/plastic strips etc.



will spend some more time on her tomoz and no doubt even more swearing when things don't go back in the same as before!

Todays the day to bust this bad boy out..

Fitted rest of stereo over the weekend, and managed to blow my indicator relay..?

Tried to fit new Scat Dragfast shifter, only to discover the original bolts are too short, so sort that out this week sometime.

Only got a few things left to do for BVF:

gearshift
reverse light
dual charge system
under seat carpet
indicator relay
look at sliding door track as a bit bumpy
replace rear sliding door roller
sort accelerator and tick over
T-Cut and polish

so not much left really!
