| Dude, I've got the exact same Raydyot pillar lamp. How did you go about fitting yours, and did you route the wire though owt? I was thinking brake hose. | |

| Have you bothered to put a gasket on the bracket base or brace it on the inside? Looks like it would be ok on a pillar but yours is mounted to a door skin isn't it? Wouldn't that dent/stretch or even pull through the panel?
Sorry for all the questions.

| With Bristol looming I thought I should start getting ready. A little bit at a time is the way forward, and so I decided to give the old girl the first wash she's had for 18 months. I then remembered the Patina Wax I picked up from T2D at VoWo I gave the front panel a very quick rub over to see how it came out. It'll need doing again properly, but I'm pleased with it, brings out the colour well and gives a nice satin sheen. The front section of the roof came out ok too Here's the difference..... | |

| Well there's no going back now. Spent another 3.5 hours this afternoon finishing off the Patina Waxing. I hope I've done the right thing. | |

| Have now got a replacement rear lens, I fact I've got 3, as after getting a pair from Steve Morris I also get one posted to me. Gonna pop the pair back to Steve and then get the other one fitted. Still can't decide whether to run over-riders or deluxe bumper trim I'm looking round for a pair of gnarly bumpers to fit the trim up and then swap to decided which I prefer. | |

| I've now decided that Superdry is off the road for the winter to get some jobs done. I'm going to drop the current engine so I can drop the fuel tank out. I want to replace the full fuel line, the filler pipe and the breather pipes etc. Also going to fit the hot start relay, electric fuel pump and cut off etc. I've got a 1303s gearbox to fit, ready for the 1863cc engine that is being looked at my Dr Nomates. Need to look at the middle side window frames too. Might look in to getting the chassis notches enlarge too.
I now have a new pair of bumpers to bolt up that I can get the deluxe trim on, still wondering whether to fit the belt line trim too.
Gotta pull my finger out and get it all done in time for the VolksWorld show.

| Looked at doing the rear bumper but realised I didn't have any pop rivets big enough. Got them ordered, and whilst I was at it I also accidentally bought a Buttys throttle linkage. | |

Just as well if scoops is going to fit it himself You snot-gobbler! I admit, I'm going to jib out of fitting the belt line trim as I want it done right and to make sure the holes have adequate corrosion protection.

| Got the arse end sorted this weekend. Started off with the arse end up in the air. Off came the rear over-riders. And this afternoon on went the trim and the new rubbers. I then dropped the van off at Formula First this evening for an MOT. Should get it back tomorrow night, ready for the Mid Month Cruise out..... | |
