| The wheels are nothing flashy or shiney, but they are what i was after Wheel and tyre combo to be Standand 4j Steels Front, wearing 145/65/15 Bridgestone, Professionally Re-Rimmed VW Centre into 6j Weller Steel Rear, thinking 205/70/15 or 206/65/15 depending on what looks right, Shotblasted and Powdercoated Cream... No tyres yet as i havnt been arsed to fit any yet, pic coming up... | |

| Who did you buy them from?? Was it from someone on VZi?? If so contact them via a PM and say that the wings aren't as you expected and ask for a refund.... Don't go launching off on one......If he f*cks you off contact a mod on there. If still nothing we can all pan him them on there!!!! | |

It was a chap on vzi, username 1500 Bug, didn't expect them to be perfect, but the holes dont even line up with each other, let alone the ones on the shell!!! Considered going ape, but for what i paid its really not worth the hassle, instead im going to consider it a challenge and have another look at them when ive finished moving house. Only need the back ones really anyway, the fronts just look arse, though they might give the tucked in look of a narrowed beam - nope, just looks cack! Its not that im desperate for them as the bug wont be on the road for a while, but they dont come up that often. Now im going to have the space on the drive for the shell, im considering going for the full new floorpan, body off experience, so that should keep me busy for a bit! Have sorted transportation for the stigmeister to the new gaff on fri today | |

| Well thats it, it'll make me happier about it knowing that there are no gremlins hidden under filler or bodges, i dont have to rush because im lucky enough that kim will lend me her car if i need to get anywhere, it'll just take a little longer, but now ive got all the gear and the space i might as well use it! I'll be recruiting lifters, and anglegrinders nearer the time, so you can start an orderly que haha!!!! | |
