Spoke to an electrician this morning who is having one of his pals call me, I'm gonna get it checked out before I even test fire it, I know very little of these things and am not gonna blow myself up just to save a couple of quid.

One way of getting the filler out of my bus!! lol

But as Griff said, thats a bolt onto the underside of a bus eberspacher and not a nice hiden way inside type one.

you may struggle getting parts for that bad boy.

Right enough, there is no where this is going to fit on the fasty.

Spent the day at the unit today, Goal was to get the seats & carpet out to assess the carpet and clean the car out, mangaged to get the seats out with a little direction from vince, cheers fella, got the carpet out, which appears to be shagged and removed about half a ton of sand and dog hair! Also removed the dash top in prep for the arrival of the new one.

Quite a productive day...some pics....

spirit of the 50's do a reasonable priced carpet set for a type 3, i got mine from there on my old green one.

yeah it was a pretty good fit, if you call them they will send colour samples out.

tried to find some pic's but can't seem to find them.

The one they have is in more pieces than mine

well spotted mate, they claim this is the set for a late type 3, let me speak to tomorrow first before we order

that carpet in the pic is to fit in a late car with the hump in the floor for the 3rd runner.like in mine.you may have to make your own carpet set like i did or try an early type3 set

ahhh i see .......so what does he ask for ...an early set , or is this because his is for a diabled driver? an automatic?

Perhaps I ask for the carpets for the common rarer automatic variant...
