I ran out of cutting, grinding and flap disks and gas for the welder so could finish it off.

Yeah Scoops it's great being in there just seem to do more then i used to.. I was down there for about 3-4 hours after work today stripped and cleaned both carbs fitted a new electronic ignition and done the cargo doors

looks cool as matey, top work as ever;)

Bit more done...

Welds ground and sanded down..



Inside welded and ground down..



Skim of filler.. Rubbed down..



And a couple coats of high build primer..

And now in paint, pop outs fitted with new catches..






Also put a coat of paint on the inside... Cos i never did it when i fitted the panels..

And matt blacked the engine bay..

Cheers guys..... But you haven't seen it in the flesh it's proper hanging colour is miles out even though it's what was left over from when i painted it and was already mixed as well



Decided to move the tacho and whack it up on top of the dash rather then hiding underneath the tray





And painted and fitted a original metal radio blank.

Check this,,,, an update.... Not that it's anything interesting

New dizzy cap and rotor fitted... Part of the carb linkage became very sloppy so i pulled it off and welded it up..

Knocked up a little throttle stop bracket cos it's been open to far and jamming fully open so this should stop it from happening..








Also fitted some new TMI cream sun visors

Just read this thread from start to finish, and really have to congratulate you Rich on being a `Metal Magician`, what you can do with metal is AMAZING, I wish I had your Skills.
