My 65 split bus

its bloody loud enough love it time for a sub again me thinks

I may take a pic tomorrow before i pull it apart.

I may be starting to collect bit's for the rebuild of this little sheep for the winter but they may well be a Scooby motor, porsche 5 speed box and brakes and thats just for starters so if i can sort out approx cost then double it i should be some where close to what it'll cost me to do it.. Just i thought i've been having in the mad 3/4's of my little brian for a while now..
If not then she WILL be up for sale later on the year... T25/T3 on my drive.

So i found a throw we had for camping and covered it all up for now.



And the front 6x9's mounted nicely behind the front seats this was already made cos it came out of the crewy when i sold it..



Just need to mount the headunit and hide the wires a bit more..

Been having a bit of engine troubles since the loom burnt out rattles and grinders and big loss of power.

So first things first give the van a T-cut and polish looks alot better just need to do the roof

Then started to look at the motor i removed the fan belt and the grinding and rattling stop so i pull the alternator off then removed the fan and the two 10m nuts that hold the back plate on had started to come loose so i tightened them up whacked it bolt together with a nice 2k black top pulley and changed the bottom alloy pulley for a new degreed alloy one ..

Then i checked the points and i had NO gap so i regapped them and thats thats all sorted now

And the roof light WILL be gone this week so i'll be riding with a naked head

Well i think it's just wrong on a windowed bus.. I've also got a brand new search light that took bloody ages to get hold of and thats not gonna be fitted either.. It'll look alot harder with the roof light i think..

Thats why i put it but it's not a van any it's a bus so i don't think it's right..

Fair point, it has now evolved a long way from its van origins.

Had a PM from someone on VZI wanting to buy it off today but i'm either gona leave it on or take it off a put it in the shed just in case..
