The jets ect turned up for the carbs today so thats them sorted.. The new rear drums turned up from Germany so it's all prety much ready to go back together... Cool

Yeah lets hope theres not to much wrong with it...

Booked in for MOT monday afternoon.. Shocked Shocked Shocked


Must get on and sort it out...


I'm sure theres a bit more that needs to be done before the MOT as well. Shocked Shocked

Weld cab floor.
Rebuild steering.
Finish fitting front beam.
Mount front shock (some how)
Fit hand brake cables, clutch cable, throttle cable and gear linkage.
Fit Scat shifter.
Rebuild rear suspension.
Remove gearbox and shafts.
Refit shafts and tubes to GT gearbox.
Refit gearbox.
Bleed and adjust all brakes.
Rewire brake lights.
Refit the 1914.
Modify the exhaust to fit.
Mount external filter.

Route oil pipes for cooler and filter.
Fit bumpers.
Finish fitting safaris.
Get the indicators working.
Clean over spray of windows ect.
Fit headlights.
Wire up horn
.

Best of luck for the tester bud, thanks for the phone number yesterday. I popped up the road on the industrial estate and got chatty with the tester next door, and because he said he won;t charge for a retest and that he doesn't mind me taking it off site (as I can push it into the works yard next door) he won;t recharge. So priobably going to book it in for Monday/ Tuesday. Smile

No worries dude fingers crossed then.........

Shocks are mounted.
Steering is rebuilt.
Tracking is done.
Front suspension is raised. Then lowered at a couple of inches cos it was embarrassing Evil or Very Mad
Front brake pipes fitted.

Still got plenty to get done though Shocked

Yeah cheers... Didn;t realise i was out of gas in the welder and the only place in town is shut on saturdays so thats that Evil or Very Mad Evil or Very Mad Evil or Very Mad Evil or Very Mad


Anyway the 1300 gearbox is out axles,hubs and the nose cone are off.

The GT box is ready to go back in with the axles fitted and shimed up and all other bits bolted on..

May have the 1914 back in and running tomorrow Cool
