| I don't think you can run them legally without, knew a guy years ago who was into the hot rod scene big time (old fords)
he and his mates just made up some crappy mud guards for the M.O.T that they could fit real easily ,then took them off but kept them in the cars in case the police stopped them.

| Dan I started to run my juiced bus on the lowest settings but you don't get much suspension travel then, you are better off running it about midway for a comfortable ride then dropping it on it's ass when you get there!! | |

| thats pretty much what i do scoops.
as for running no wings there is no law that says you have got to have them it only states that the wheels need a splash gaurd in the wet. so if its dry your perfectly legal but when it rains you need a little something covering the tyres (the guy from the dvla said it only has to be big enought to stop the spray from the tyres it doesnt have to cover the whole tyre).
i dont run mine with anything since the accident and i havent had a problem (thats over a year as my daily driver) when the cops have seen it. even with the big tyres on the back!
the gaurds in the photos were made from plastic trailer mudgaurds.

| i forgot to add: it went through the MOT without mudgaurds on and the tester couldnt fail it as there is nothing that covered no mudgaurds. | |
