was so waitin for the "the suspensions too high" comments........after xmas when i have some spoms free........till then its oxygen equipment & a ladder.......i swear i heard someone yodel on the roof yesterday!

been workin back thru the wiring today......still have to rig up some lecky washers & sort a dodgy earth in one rear lamp but other than that its comin alkong great......now starts 1st time everytime

i work better under pressure......have booked it for a ticket......a week on thursday!!!!

started on the body tidy up today......front panel is sound but just handpainted a nasty matt white:

then removed the grill, masked up the lights n white area, flatted it with me sander & did this:

then cleaned up & repainted the bumper & round the screen.....its only a winter rattle can makeover but it looks better than handpainted hippy purple!:

then got the good lady involved, wire brushed the tatty but solid floor:

and then clare painted it using radiator enamel to look like this:

am lovin being aircooled again matey......drove the van round the carpark again this mornin!......cant wait to get it on the road

thats my plan i think, back to aircooled but has to be a bay, my water pump t3 is pissing me off lmao

well.....i made a list (checkin it twice lol)of mot stuff left to do this mornin:

rig up the lecky windscreen washers
make & fit battery clamp
fill n flat a dent in rear lower quarter (popped out well n just needed a skim of puddin)
make the horn work
check n grease beam
clean up the brake pipes n coat
check & top up the g/box oil
re-check all wiring in the dash n reconnect the speedo cable
fit new rear number plate

well......after 4 hrs of solid graft.......tis all done.....in for the ticket Thursday......everything crossed
