a few snaps of my T4 Ronnie, and what ive done so far, not as much as i would like but time etc is always an issue.

Here we go:

When i got him


the interior


insulating with kingspan




roof lining out and insulated


carpeting roof lining and fitting LED lights










Lowered front end to match rear




next up is to finish carpeting the rest, sort the electrics in the back and get a full width R n R bed when funds allow, should be finished by 2030!!!

After about 6 months I have just worked out what your user name is all about...

Purple = Colour of van.
Ronnie = The vans name.

I thought it had something to do with your manhood and didn't want to say anything as I felt sorry for you cuz it was purple.

rich, cost me £450 to get all nozzles cleaned! reckin still needs a good tune though as hes a bit smoky on starting.

I did have a nose round the van the other day buddy looks loads better with the front end sorted out..

Cheers rich, i think it can go lower though! left 15mm on the torsion thread so got a bit left, front is now level with back but once i get bed in, im hoping it will drop more! im def getting a full width r n r now, the kitchen idea is out the window thinking of this one

ikea dude, the white ones, they are great, just cut the tranny off and you got 12v dc get them for £20 with one of them ikea family cards

currently sorned mate due to engine issues, had the injectors cleaned but still have small diesel leak! also smoking badly so will be blockin egr off. had lost interest in it due to problems with it but have decided to get it sorted now and get it on road for summer. will update as soon as, also fancy an air cooled next! andy ham has got me hooked on the resto cal vibe

I noticed mine is a little smokey when cold!! Never doesnet like to start on the first go, then a nice smoke puff on the second when she starts up!!

Mine doesnt seem to be going anywhere either so I might start doing some interior work on it soon.

right have got some carpet (finally!) on the walls of the van today. not as bad as i thought it would be, pretty chuffed with the end result just got to do the panels now!
also all my stuff has arrived for the split charge system so lots of wiring to do now

oh and its back on the road too, and going like shit off a shoval since i blocked the egr off still needs tweeking though

i blanked my EGR off in my 2.5 TDI and put on a Huge after market air filter and it makes LOADS of difference!!

sacked off the RnR bed idea, lookin at going for a more chilled lounge affair!!

also blacked out badge and painted tow bar and tow eyes
