Twas a top night, I would have come round to more people if my cheesy chip hadn't taken 4.8 hours to arrive!!
Excellent turn out and a top laugh.

Had a great time guys!
A big thanks to Sam for keeping the boys (mainly Taylor) happy with the spoon people and the aeroplanes!
It was a brilliant turn out of peeps and it was nice to chat to some new faces (I wore my DBS shirt so everyone would know who I was)!!!
TBH I must say The food and alcahol there is so expensive and the menu is toal pants. Our food cost over £35 for us 4 and it wasn't very nice, infact I ended up nearly being sick after eating one of the potatoes. Plus we had to wait for over an hour for the food to arrive and we ordered it before you all got there! A round of drinks that cost under £5.50 at our local was over £9 there!
Its a shame cause its such a perfect pub with plenty of parking and space. I think in future we wont bother to eat there!!!

Hmm I agree, I waited 20 mins to buy sme chips then 12 mins to buy pint, thats 32 mins! By the time I got out my meal was sat waiting for me, not great service.

sorry me, Jammo, and James couldnt stay long. Glad the weather held out else we wouldv got wet in the buggy!

Also sorry to the 2 in the fiesta that i overtook! It was Jammo's fault for egging me on.... bad influence on me

twas a good evening.......following Phils range rover up the dual carriageway with Si's buggy next to me kickin out big flames on the over-run was excellent!!

Agree that food at the Quart is not great but the ambience is pretty laid back

Cant complain about the food as ididnt eat there, I have a BIT of common sense hehe

Found out that the only reason the food was taking so long was because a chef didnt turn up, which was also the reason that the normal bar guy wasnt on the bar.

Had a good chat with him tho, and he seems to want to get himself a bay...

It sure was an excellent meet, shame about the food/drink delay probs, hopefully be sorted next time.

I thought the food ..........even tho' it took for ever ....was really nice (cheese and bacon burger with chips).....and I was forewarned at the bar that it would take a while ..........


so no complains from me ....plus the company made up for it ...good to see so many happy faces

It did seem to be a return to 'quality' meets!!
And my cheesy chips took about 10 mins tops.....

No complaints with my food only took about 15mins for my Gammon to come but I think I was probably the first to order though

Well I am glad we got to the bottom of that.

When I went in to pick up the mountain bike from the forecourt, I asked him if he had a busy night on the night of the meeting, he said it had been, especially as the chief walked out on him early in the evening, that night. This might explain the delay on the food and the quality.
We had lunch there the other day and yes, its a little on the pricey side but it was really nice.
