Thats what it is the weather lol honest, i should realy pull my finger out though as my roof is bad now but when the cold sets in it will only get worse, but hey apparently we have a great big heat wave on its way in sept so it will be hot

Rite here we go again, got another one for you lot and seekin advise,

over the weekend whilst drivin down to dubs@beach i found tht if im drivin it at a slow pace every thing seems to be fine but under acceleration i am hearing wot i can describe as a CLACCING sound, soz but its the ony way i can describe it...

now we hav had a problem on the dizzy wif the points not operating properly, could this hav any thing to do with it,
i also did notice tht it doesnt do it when in neutral only in gear ? ? ? ?

Sounds the like timing or points aren't set right and it's 'pinking'.. Or it's running too hot and 'pinking' get it sort asap or there will be trouble ahead.

Make sure it isn't in gear when you are setting the timing up though??

Kermit is now off the road till his problems are solved..
he has a few issues ..
his points are sticking ,he has tapping sound under hard exceleration..
and a nasty oil leak that needs looking into ...
has an air leak on vac pipe rubbers the list goes on lol...

Well beck starter went on and all was fine no nasty noises even when i was reving pretty hard so not the motor thats for sure, as for the oil leak yep it was the oil cooler so redone it so should be good now, I will say i needsome inlet gaskets for it though as think thats where the air leak is

bargin thats all i need i think got the manifold boots and all the seals for the oil cooler i had loads spare
