just a quick hi,
Ive just joined your club,
my name is steve and (if I can get the photo thing to work) this is my splitty.
I am also restoring my girlfriend lisa's 1966 karmann ghia but I have no decent photo's of the ghia ,so,as compensation though i'd post a photo of an old beetle I used to own.

please bear with me I am computer iliterate

completely rebuilt the motor ,so at least it runs now ,still have to finish off a liitle bit of interior,and i've got digital t.v in it now ,just need me mum to finish the cushions :oops:well i can't sow!!! then it should be done...................are these projects ever finished????

errr no they are never finished and thats a fact.....did Carl paint your tin ware in the end??

metallic black, took him about 4 months ....then the day I got it back his boiler broke down....(now he owes me another favour!!)

O.K here is lisa's K.G ,looking rather sad as I've partly stripped it ready for re-spray,until I welded in a headlamp repair panel and de-trimmed it ,it had never seen a welder!! the floor pans are like new
