| Not got much done on this but the rear height is now set.. I've pulled the loom out of my bug and i'm half way through putting it in Frizz's... Wing beading has been coiled up for years and slightly miss shaped so i've got that in place to straighten it out a bit before final fit up.. Got to sort some dynamat before the insides can be started.. Probably gonna get it from the states i think.. | |

| How much did you narrow the front beam by Rich? Only wondering if you had to take off steering stops or how you got round the problem Got an MOT due on mine and it's got no steering stops so will be technically a fail | |

| Hey Mark hows the family??? As for the beam i didn't do it i bought it as is... I think it was a 3" it def isn't any more then that.. And i'm still running the steering stops but did have to modify the arm that bolts to the box and track rod arms.. | |

| Family's good thanks Rich. I think the arm on mine got cut back for clearance, hence no stops. I'll have to check and see if I can come up with a solution. Either that or distract the MOT tester | |

| No stops should be to much of a problem as long as the wheels don't hit anything.... Should it..... My oval had no stops and that didn't fail.... | |

Did the wheels hit anything with the oval? I think the K & L beams are a bit different from the ball joint beams. The tyres on mine rub the inner arches on full lock. It's passed before at an MOT station up in Cheshire. I guess it depends on where you take it...

| Minty hasn't got her stops but I havent put her thru an MOT yet so who knows. Nothing rubs on her but she has got skinny tyres on the front.

| And finally started to get to work on the front beam to get it finished and back in.. Should be back rolling next week..
Then it's just.. Finish the headliner. Sort and fit new sound deadening. Fit interior. Welding some new seat runners. Make door cards. Finish the wiring loom. Rebuild rear brakes. Bleed all brakes. Set tracking. Prep and paint the tinware. Refit tin. Fit engine. Fit chrome trim. Fit running boards. Sort some door rubbers. Fit all windows and chrome trim. Fit new rear shocks. Fit bumpers. Fit wings and wing beading. Fit new lights and indicators.
I think thats about it really.. Then MOT time..
