Hi - sorry I didn't reply sooner but I didn't see the welcome.

Hopefully this will be a picture of our bus - a 1975 Westy. It was taken on top of Bleadon Hill for the insurance valuation, but it's the only one I've got hosted on photobucket at the moment. I say it's "our" bus, but actually it's the wife's. That is until it needs petrol or something fixing .......

I wasn't aware there was VW club in Weston until I happened across some reference to it on Volkszone the other day (when it was working ......). I thought I'd register and see what happened. The forum and club both look quite active.

How often do you meet up then ?? (I expect I could find that out somewehere on this forum if I looked.)

Thanks for the invite - but when is the next meet ?? I'm actually off on holiday for a few days this afternoon (back on Sunday) so won't be around, otherwise I'd have nipped down and shown my face.

We meet on the last Friday of the month and also have a mid-week meet. This alternates between the 2nd Tuesday and the 2nd Wednesday of the month.

We meet at the Tropicana on the Friday evening, then cruise in convoy down to the Full Quart on the A370

And yes you're right me n Scoops are in an office all day so we're able to post from work! ... In my lunchtimes only of course!

I'm in an office too, so get the opportunity to "monitor the internet" during office hours. Purely in a professional capcity, of course

Actually, it's the ONLY time I can get on the internet. The only time I can get anywhere near the PC at home is if its broke, otherwise the kids are doing homework or the missus is surfing for something !!
