The 72 custom bay called hank

At a guess dude theres valve looking thing mounted to the chassis kinda like behind where the servo used to be.. Could be the one????????

Just follow around the brake lines mate (mid to rear sections probably & you'll find it....just looks like a big pipe joiner or a small slave cylinder with a pipe at each end.

the balance valve maybe working correctly but when your bay was lowered they may not have re-set the valve.

Never had to do that before and Carls bay isn't exactly LOW now is it

if you dont re-set the balance valve when lowering it thinks it got weight in the van so it makes the rear brakes work harder

is this it if so its at the front of the van behind the drivers seat ish and what doi do to it cos if this van fails i quite and go back to ford heaps cos im at the end of my patients with this van please help

That looks like the kiddie, get someone to pump the brakes while you tap it with a hammer (gently!!) & it'l probably free off if its stuck

Whats the bleed nipple for and how do i reset it

dont know about resetting it but tap it with the hammer then bleed it & see what happens

Cos the front will lock up first dude..

If not then back the rear brakes off a bit

try the tapping trick, then test drive & only bleed it if you have to (you shouldnt have to bleed the rest again i wouldnt think)

just take em back a couple of clicks mate to balance things up

i will give the thing me jig a couple af taps with the lump hammer and if that dosnt work i will try backing them of on the rear and hope it passes

can't wait til wed, fingers, legs and toes crossed he passes, as i would love to go to vanfest in hank and not have to pitch a tent up

All breaks sorted i hope just the lights to adjust tomorrow evening

Also got to pick my free awning up at vanfest

did tapping the thingamy jig work .....or did you back off the rear brakes dude???

Ive backed of the breakes as tapping the thingy did nothing i even blead it again and it blead fine But it was the same when it went for its first mot and they didnt fail it on that just the servo and the rear breaked binding
