Cheers dude im alright at mo but if i need help i will just ask if the outer sill turns up i should have passenger side done soon

Little update apart from the outer sill the passenger side is finished sorry about the pick forgot the camera so had to use the old phone lol

keep it up wont be long

Heres a little update before i had my misshap

passenger side is now all finished no more welding needed there now for the drivers side which isnt as much

outer sill fitted

and all painted underneath cant wait to get some white

cut away the rubbish


fitted the bit of inner sill as it is 70% solid


then started to rebuild the outrigger and floor support

Blimey, surely theres no rot left now dude?

I have the rear inner and outer sill, front drivers step, front inner wheel arch, rear wheel arch front repair, and a hole just behind the back panel then hes getting a couple little jobs done and in for mot, the welding is about 2/3 days worth maybe not even that much so wont be long

Little update nothing big but it all counts got the panel near rear wheel arch repaired just a little more filling and a prime for now

Getting there got loads of welding done not alot left to go

Cheers dude welding wise its nearly finished just silly things then like engine tin, 4 balljoint rubbers as mine have perished, engine bay seal, front indicator and try and link the servo up some how as its not conected

does it have a servo carl mine's a 72 and got no servo on the brakes

Yes mate 72 with servo its a good thing in away but bad thing as the pipe from the servo gos to the inlet manifold so ive been told and my manifold isnt the right one

Nearly finished the welding got the inner sill to finish and a hole in the engine bay then its all welded

Dude, I should have the end piece of the manifold that takes the servo pipe! I had to make one when I put a bug engine into my old T25! See if I can dig it out for you!

Just found it mate. I assume your bay will be a half inch pipe like a T25???
It aint the best thing I've knocked up, but it will do the job (I run my old bus on it for 6 months)! I'll bring it to the meet tomorrow!
