Never thought I'd own one of these but I can honestly say it has been THE most fun I have had driving behind the wheel in an old car yet (except maybe the van/my first bug).

7.5" body dropped, on the road, super duper soild in OG paint (flat - soon to be rattier) - utter shits and gigs to drive and own and cheap as chips on fuel.

I think so ......they also spark on every stroke of the engine ,even the exhaust stroke

yep .....wasted spark , that was what i was thinking of ....lol run off a coil pack or packs if I remember correctly .......anyhow , they are a hoot to drive uber reliable ......un safe as funk ....great rare car ................well done dude

lol cheers lads, glad you like it. it is a marmite car but i absolutely LOVE IT! cheap as chips? yeah obviously - it is me, and i am skint glasto hippy type lol. it was about the price you'd have paid for an ok 70's bug project needing work, so cheap classic motoring and this one needs nothing doing. plus parts (i dont need any) are cheaper than bug bits too

p.s. without wanting to jinx it, this one is a keeper - too much fun not to plus gf likes it too.

p.p.s haha yeah the gears are the same as a 2cv - hehe, took me a few metres to get used to them but it makes them really tight and torquey, so 1st is 3rd, 2nd is 4th and all sorts of odd things.

raised it 1.5" at the rear now so it doesnt grind over EVERYTHING and isnt resting on the bump stops, still looks slammed but much more 'level' now. will be at mid monther then in it if you want to see (plus will add more updated pics later this week)
