You screw the bolt in, then turn the head through 180 degrees and then use the punch to knock the guide out. Knocking the punch again the bolt you've just screwed in.

I may as well have a pop myself Andy if that vid is anything to go by. An evening and they'll be done. Just got to sort some tinware and then paint or powder coat it and I can get the other jobs sorted.

| scoops, I just did the valves guides and stem seals on my POLO CYL head.
Its not that bad to be honest.
Just keeping it all super clean and measure / mark it all up. you'll be fine.
Make sure you lap the valves in correctly and that there is a watertight seal.
To check the seal I used a bit of engineering blue to check the valve to valve seat mating surface. Then I partially rebuilt the head by installing the valves with the springs. Install the spark plugs. turn the head over (get it as level as possible) and fill the Chambers in the head with petrol to check for leaks.

| I like the idea of pasting your magazine featured Van on it, or maybe past it over ALL your fan housing and tinware (not straight and over lapping, random).
You could see what it would look like if you could photoshop it on. You could also try this theme or idea with vinyl wrap, if you could get the idea printed up.
As anyone see it done before?
Similar what people do to their vehicle interiors or ceilings.

| Just ordered new valves and guides, some replacement tinware pieces, heat exchangers, new tinware screws, heater piping, new pulley, crankshaft oil seal and installation tool, sump plate with drain hole, tank filter, breather joints, battery tray and some full flow kit. That should get me back on the go! | |
