| Nice to see you've finally managed to get some photos posted up, Olly. Hopefully there's not too much work to see her get an MOT? Keep posting up what parts you are on the look out for. Seems you found a good pair of tyres for her. Now all we need is a date you are going to finish it. | |

Now all we need is a date you are going to finish it. Cheers Pete There's a few things left to do for the MOT but in the scale of things, and compared to previous projects I've done, this is almost there now and relatively straightforward. Top of my head I need to: - Weld the holes (3-4 hours work) courtesy of Cliff - Fit rear bumper and new brackets - Re-fit running board - Rub down the entire underside and underseal front to back (easily a days work to do it properly) incl stone chipping inner arches and wings - Swap the tyres for a pair of 145's I won cheap off ebay (happy days!) - Drop the back/drop the front - Fit new fuel pump/fuel lines/service the engine Thats about it to be honest. It took me about 12 hours or so to cut the paint back and it's still not perfect (very thin respray) but looks a million times better than it did. It's never going to win shows, I just want a nice useable fun car on a budget. It's incredibly solid and unmolested so I wanted to keep it semi stock I'm 3 weeks into it now, and I want to get it done within 6 weeks (so much for 'going slowly' eh) but I should be on track. Hopefully MOT it within a few weeks then will put it under cover and get it out for the spring when I've got enough saved for insurance and tax Driveway resto's in the winter are a bitch, by the time I get home its too dark or its raining so that has slowed things up

Hi Phil, sorry but I sold those on ebay a fortnight ago mate. I wasn't a fan of them; even though I know 6" wolfraces (in VERY good condtion) are collectable. I sold them within 90 mins (!) which paid for almost all the bits I needed to buy for the car to put it back to stock. They looked too clumsy to me compared to some 5.5"/4.5" cal look combo I'll be running now.

| cliff has worked his socks off on trying to sort the engine - its being a hit of a pig but almost everything has been replaced now so can only really be one or two things left to try (grrrrr bloody cars lol) bodywork is looking much smarter, super solid and not like the farmers banger it once was | |

| hehe.... like these ones bud?? i cannot thank all of the DBS'ers who have made this happen with cheap parts/techy help, and for actually doing all the majority of mechanical work for me: cliff, who has been an incredible friend, and i'll be eternally grateful. rich has been... well, rich, and after trying to slam my bug to within 3cm of it's life he finally saw sense and broke the law and raised it back up a bit - it is still looooooow though and is settling lower by the hour eeek!! pics dont do it justice. see it in the flesh! i will put a load of new photos of all the work (100+ hours!) up soon, it just takes so long on photobucket. | |

| p.s. the really weird thing is, thats only stock height spline wise, just purely using the 2" red 9 design lowered spring plates - so it can be put back to stock anytime etc. winner! | |
