I didn't know you had a scooter ...lol

watercooled question .......my lt 28 with a 5 cylinder turbo'd deisel engine is suffering seriously from turbo lag ....can i fit one of them plug in re-mapping box thingies ,and if i do will it make a difference ....if not ,what can I do ?

To reduce lag on the beast you could reduce the boost pipes in length, or even clean the inside of the pipes, they may be clogged up with oil.

If your after more power then i would suggest removing the govener, modifing the fuelling pin in the diesel pump to allow max fuel, fit a manually controlled boost controller, fit a bigger diameter downpipe mated to a free flow exhaust system. Cool

To be honest with you i just made all that up. But im sure some of it may fix your problem?! Laughing

in a short answer to your question.... No due to the nature of it being an old crap pile, it must be scrapped! lol!

P.S on a serious note, i got a spare on of them plug in thigs if you want it 20 bucks its yours!
Ive just had mine remapped from 104 to 152 bhp Twisted Evil

Didnt on my old mk1 Caddy.
I lifted the gov, then turned the fuel pin in the pump 180 degrees to give it max fuel.
