DBS has been running since 2006 and as a club we pride ourselves on being a welcoming and informal bunch of guys and girls, brought together by our mutual interest in the VW marque. The club has a simple ethos, have fun. Come along to as many or as few meetings or shows as you wish. Life has a habit of getting in the way sometimes but here at DBS we don’t think any less of anybody if they come to one show a year for the afternoon and a club meet once in a blue moon. We don’t like cliques, we don’t like politics, we do like getting together and chatting, usually nonsense, having a few drinks and making everybody feel welcome. With a wealth of knowledge in the club there’s always someone to ask for VW related assistance, although don’t always expect a sensible answer straight away! We try to meet once a month, on the last Friday, at the Bristol House, on Milton Road, in Weston, and we attend many shows throughout the year. We have a Facebook page too, although the forum has always been the heart of the club, we welcome everybody to contribute, and don’t worry too much if the topics stray off the path, they usually come back!
