| PM Cliff (Impy) to get an idea of what you need to look out for on them.
Scoops might be able to advise as well as he has the notch, but not sure if the early T3's have common faults or not

yep, after late 68 is a late model type 3 (different lights front & rear, different bonnet/wings, better brakes & 12v electrics)

| Not sure whether to bother showing you pics, this is what he said when I asked about rust/welding and the problem areas:there is one piece of welding needed on the backend of the car which didn't come in on the mot as its classed as body work and not structal and the front edge of the spare wheel well will need a bit of welding too.
its had a few bits of welding done for the mot a small patch under bonnet and a couple of patches under one of the front wheel arches and also a small patch on near side floor... there are bits and pieces round the car that has been done in the past...
there is a patch of rust on the front edge of the bonnet and could do with a rear bumper as is crispy in a few places, but its not falling off...
the front wings are fibreglass so no rust on them...
What do you think? |

| To be honest mate when they have been patched the chances are its over the old crud and no one has cut it out or done it right, my verdict is stay away sorry  |
