my brother is selling his orange beetle.

12 months mot, 12 months tax (not free, but is cheap as 1300) but could be as mot says 1st used in 71, he is making some enquire's
1300 ar engine
body off resto, most stuff is new or recond, that went back on

£3500 open to sensible offers.

I doubt it will be tax free dude. My old Bay was on an L plate and wasn't. Turned out the fecker was made on 14th Jan 1973!!
Can you beleive it, 14 days out of being tax exempt. I was gutted!!
I can't see the bug having been manufactured at least 8 months before being registered.......

i can't see it either but you never know.

and would that really put buyers off, not being tax exempt Question as you could buy one that is exempt thus saving 125 quid a year, but needs a grands worth of work for the next ticket.

You never know but i doubt it my GT is on L plates and is tax exempt Very Happy

my 1303 (dylan) was a 74 and on the mot man's computer it came up as a 71 but i never got round to getting a birth certificate for it.

but as for if its not tax exempt would it put ppl off - it wud put me off cos i cant afford to tax two cars

Get a birth certain for it. This is a 74 model year isn't it?
You never know though......

An L can be exempt as the 73 plate ran from Aug 72, geddit?
