| just eying a few things up at the mo in the way of twin carbs, would something like this be good for my 1914 motor, More information Carburettor Kit, Twin, 44hpmx, Twin Port, Kit (Empi) 050.056.20 £449.50 Kit (Including VAT) Wish list, its a complete kit with everything i need, wondering if anyone knows if this would be a good one to go for mabey or do i need to rob more banks ? |

| dude, ive got a pair of dells for sale. refurbed 40's by mick at kerb side autos £250 but you will need to by the manifold linkage kit about £160 far far better carbs than the Empi kit! |

| thiis is the thing lol, i dont have dosh for idles etc, i got this gunson gas exaust analyser, i should be able to use that to help me set it up, it gives me the co reading of the exhaust, yes yours certainly does go like stink al, |

| if i did go for the twisn i would proberly have to have it set up by a rollin road place as i dont have the slightist clue about carbs, all i know is twin carbs is the way foward and bigger in most cases is better  , just depnds how much rolling road would cost me, i dunno about this no more turning expensive unless i put car of the road for a bit  and save up . |

| Martin, you need to get the carbs jetted up properly or you will have even worse problems than you are having now. Running lean can lead to it over heating.........there ain't no rush, just put some aside and do it when you can. _________________   |

| well im considering these dells at the mo, are jets easy to fit, i can ft the carsb thats no problem, how do you guys kow what jets go in them, is just experience or a bit of guess work here and there, but as big all seaid it would be 100 on jets ect from eurocarbs , also would i need a different fan shroud to allow the carbs to fit on ? i got a standard Tp one on at the moment, |

| Big Al has a tuning book for Dells. The jet size is dependent on the size of the valves you aare running in your heads. Do a search on jetting Dells on Google dude.........or have a good chat with Big Al. The jets simply unscrew and screw in..............you would also need to sort your venturis........ I would suggest doing plenty of homework. _________________   |
