PostSubject: Ride Height   Fri Jul 31, 2009 3:49 pm

My new insurance company, Sureterm, want to know exactly how far my van has been lowered. As the wack with the lowering stick took place just before I bought the van, I don't know exactly how far. I just know that it fits in my garage.

So, I wondered if one of you kind owners of a completely stock ride height bay window could answer the following question....

Question What's the distance between the horizontal center-line of one front wheel and the bottom edge of the wheel arch lip directly above it?

Idea If I know this dimension for a stock bay, then I can calculate how far my bay has been lowered. I just hope there's one non-lowered bay out there.

Fingers crossed.

Yes, lovely standard steel rims for me. The ride quality is far better. Which is good for campsites and very steep twisty-turny Welsh roads. And, I get to keep my fillings.

My van is 4.1 inches lower than stock. It's nice to finally know.
