test if the servo is working, pump the brake pedal with the engine off untill the pedal is solid...

Keep foot on the brake and start the engine the pedal should drop slightly if the servo is working Wink

what if it only has a slight leak ?
wouldn't the servo still work ....just leak air to the inlet manifold ?

the van still stops.
I drive it daily into work. only trouble is that I prob haven't noticed if the brakes have changed much over the time.

I will try 'pumping' the brake pedal test.

and recheck all connections with WD40.

will try to do this over the weekend before it goes back to interpro.

might also be part of the cause of the tunning issues.

just blank off the servo vaccume tube ,whilst its being tuned ....if it makes a difference , re-connect it after it been tuned , and then look into getting a new servo
