| im selling my vr6 sharan for £750...... probably cheaper than buying the engine, box, loom, driveshafts etc seperate......its a good strong engine with a load of history.......does 25mpg in a 2 ton sharan so would be sensible to run in std tune in a nice light golf.....would go well too!!! lol _________________ OFFICIAL DBS INSURANCE VALUATION OFFICER:

| I'm loving the suggestions and have already thought of the VR6, so good call Mr Mac, would love to take sharon off your hands but no time to be breaking people carriers or space to store the bits, will have a word with gary up at whitehouse vw see if he wants to go halves with me! Umm, loving the vtec idea, just drove my mates metro home from work and that has a 1.8 vvt lotus elise engine in it. Sorry to sound like a wanker, but i did get slightly hard when it was spinning the front wheels in 4th , in a straight line! Thinking that a k series in a mk1 would be effing sacrilege though, which kinda goes for the honda too. Would love the big VR, but opinion is divided, and the 1.8T is to much of an animal, the bosses son has one in a Skoda Octavia VRS which produces 380 brake! So that leaves, 2.0 16v gen 3 golf lump, get your eyes peeled fro a donor car people, pref one with black leather so i can pinch in interior too! |
