Well after 6 months of weekend work in the shop she's nearly done so here's some pics of the story so far:
She started like this

So off we go to the The WBC crew in Bristol who start stripping off the rotten stuff

Then comes the blending & smoothing out work

9 panels, lots of welding, hammering, blending and sanding later it's string to look like our old van again only much better Very Happy

It's been along job so far because the lads have only worked on it at weekends but it's going to be well worth the wait, watch this space cos I've got a feeling things are going to move on quite fast now and thats the body finished. Just need to re wire, re trim, refit the interior, drop the suspension and replace the turbo. pale Very Happy Very Happy

I had to get the wheel hubs drilled out to 62mm at a local engineering shop, then I had to fit 10mm spacers and extended wheel studs (from Brick-werks) when I get the van back I just need to work out how to fit the centre caps.

We had to do that for our audi alloys. My OH was wittering on about getting to centre caps to fit, wasn't quite listening to how he said he was gonna do it!
