Thanks for the warm welcome guys, as a veteran of weson super air i feel honoured to be back, and slightly scared by the levels of organisation, good work mr scoops....

Pics of the bus and the Golf to follow, although i may set fire to the golf as it is only running on 2 cylinders at the moment and i don't know why, also has a sick head gasket, thats sick as in f*cked, not like its totally sick dude!

That doner mk2 plan might have to be pushed forward a little....

Just have to convince 'er indoors that we don't really need a house deposit afterall, just get a 100% mortgage....

Nice to be back, looking forward to coming down and saying hi, love what you have done with CTTP by the way, was wicked seeing all those vee-dubs on the beach lawns. And yeah, bandit drove the black trans-am snowman had the gold and black kenworth longnose rig!

Sorry dude but i'm a reformed aircooler...

Had 2 bugs and a bus in my youth but just can't justify another until i have somewhere to put it, have mentally filled my garage many many times but having to make do with the golf at the mo.

Plan with doner mk 2 is find a late 5 door and rob the seats stub axles dics and calipers, servo etc... Leave the mk 1 standard, polybush it coilovers and a set of rims, can't decide between audi a3 pepperpots, teledials or a rather fruity set of bbs rc's that are on ebay at the moment...

Will keep the car body totally standard, straight and clean as it is (reletively) now! Mars red and shiney, but its a five door, which i always thought would suck, but its dead handy for the dog! I'm so old...

Take the lamp and box, recon them and run the engine on carbs, twin webers i think with mild tune, just a bit of a street sleeper i can still use for work as the missus gets the right hump when i take the T4.

That felt like my life story....

sweet i know of a mk2 write off but side impact i think me mate was gunna try buying it back.

mite be able to sort something out if he does!

only thing is its a D reg engines fairly gd i think less than 100k 1.8 8v gti! ill find out wats happening wid it if ya like?

Thanks dude, D plate would be sound but i have to finish building the bed, lowering and painting the wifes t4 before i get to envolved with the mk1.

He said its available as long as not bieng put back on the road itself! but any parts can be used! well the lowerings a hours work at the most! easy to do and cheap aswell! what bed ya goin for?

The T4 is a ex builders van and as such is tatty, but it has RS4 18's and will soon have 60mm drop all round, bought in exchange for a pair of single 40 solex kadrons from one of my bugs, that used to grace a certain mauve beetle that was ".....perfected by jesus".

You know who you both are!
