Why not take the Merc to Yeovil? I am presuming you still haven't sold it?? A mate of mine tried to sell his Merc recently and had a mare and ended up keeping it. I think the price of them has dropped recently.....you might have to take a hit on it to get shot.
OR, bang it up on Volkszone and see what you could trade for it. Flog Bob on too.........you could sort all your problems in one go then.

That is a good point, it is a shame the CLK is in a garage in Wincanton That makes getting it a logistical nightmare

As for taking a hit, I am already losing £10k in three years on it so I don't want to drop anymore

What are similar ones going for in Autotrader. My point is, it is better to take the hit on the chin and flog it now than think 'I ain't going that low' and leave it sat on the drive, dropping all the time.

Scoops is right, dont let it sit & depreciate cos it owes you heaps (thats what my missus did with her golf cab & you just lose more & more)

sorry i did'nt make it folks, had a heavy week at work this week long hours and all that.....descided on the warmth of my living room and a bottle of wine....but i did get bored and do an hours work on the bug as i felt guilty ..........roll on the summer.....

I have now descided to not make a meet until the car is back on the road....that should give me enough of a push to get it finished glad it was a good one folks
