Def from the old cooler trust i was the one that changed it there is oil all over his motor it needs a bloody good clean, the pipes was never on there right and it was shit thats why i put that cooler on

Cor blimey i would of thought you would of wiped the wet oil off before it went back together

I did where the new seals go but not the rest thats upto sam

i do have a ouvred fire wall nothing better for chewing your hands up when tuning carbs good work dude keep it up....i'll give you a bell in a couple of days got a bit pissed at the christening on sunday i didnt call coz i was on the sofa sleeping it off

Sorry dude forgot to ring back i had a few problems, but seem's like you got it sorted now

well here we go started one side of the motor ready for me new push rod tubes

some wet areas i found



1 more tube to go

i think thell straighten up

all seals out just got to clean it up

but im in a bit of a pickle with me spring loaded push rod tubes one end is bigger than the other and the diagram i got dont make sence really does any one know were i can get pics from to point me in the right direction also does the spring end go towards the head or block?

Heres the difference between the ends

when i fitted mine i put the spring end towards the heads but i might have been wrong

also were do the washers go as ive got enough for one on each tube?

Done abit more today im loving the half day finnishes.










thats the left hand side all put back together started the right hand side of the motor but the push rod tubes dont seem to go in were they should very easily WELL not at all so i dont know what thats all about any ideas

Looking good Sam, it will run much better with the oil staying in it!
