| Fitted the Mini Filler cap and also the Chrome lights were really badly pitted so i managed to convince dad to lose the chrome as they never stay looking nice for long... so they got finished in Satin black A while ago a guy posted on here asking who owned the Empi Imp, so i got in contact with him and he is another Imp owner in the UK, he had some re-production metal Empi Imp badges that are identical to originals which are basially impossible to get hold of, so we bought them from him. Fitted badges and number plate started sorting the wiring and made a fusebox | |

| Basically i want 'all red' rear lights but am wondering how i can make the indicators flash orange. Normally i woulnt care about this but as dad will be driving the buggy aswell i dont want him getting pulled by the poo poo too often. Does anybody know if the old green bulb behind red lense is a myth or does it work? | |

| Fuel Sender fitted, bonnet fitted with new rubber beading around edge, fitted an electric fuel pump too so that when we decide to up the power she should have enough fuel. Also went to Vision Impact in bristol and they made us an american flag sticker for the back. - all in keeping with its heritage! Looks like a buggy now! | |

Does anybody know if the old green bulb behind red lense is a myth or does it work? just buy the red lens paint, the indicators will still flash orange

| Well got some good news and some bad...
Good news is the car is built back up again and passed its MOT first time.
Bad news is due to other commitments we are not going to have enough time to sort out other things to the car before Bristol Volksfest, i.e we were hoping to remove tyres, blast the rims, and give them a coat of paint and fit some white wall bands. But the wheels will have to stay crappy flaking white for the moment. Also the rear bench seat needs re-trimming, and the front section of cage needs to be made. (just to list a few jobs that need doing)
But at least the car will be making it to Volksfest in its current state so please excuse.

| The Imp made it to Bristol Volksfest where i gave her a hard time round the Buggy course.... which resulted in this..... Loads of crap had got sucked into the Carb so i ran like a sack of sh!te. Since the show we'v stripped the Carb down and cleaned it out and she runs sweet again. Now need to get a manifold so we can fit our twin carbs. | |

| An up to daye pic. Decided the cream wheels were too much hassle to keep clean and look nice, so they went gloss black. Which in my mind never looked right, so fitted some white wall bands to break the black up a bit. I really like it now. Just waiting for some chrome centre caps to turn up to finish the wheels off. And please excuse the scratch on rear arch, was reversing it into the garage and caught the wing on a nail sticking out | |

| So... this thing span a bearing and completely buggered the engine. So we eventually found a recently reconditioned 1600cc motor locally for a decent price. Half hour later she was back up and running again. Now that dad has set the new engine up, i cant believe how much more powerful it feels compared to the old one, it sounds louder, sounds stronger, pulls like its never pulled before and throws huge flames out on command. No rattles, knocks, and for the 1st time ever no oil leaks!!! Reallt happy, and its a proper laugh to drive now. Also made up a removable Bike rack. Future plans are to fit 'all red' rear lights, extend the roll cage to the front, and buy / make some manifolds so we can fit the twin carb setup we have waiting to go on | |

| THIS IS NOW FOR SALE.
I will post up a for sale thread shortly once i know what kind of value these things are as i genuinely have no idea what they are worth as they are so thin on the ground in the UK.
